KGPLA is broadcast network of mixed media transmissions created by members of our artist cooperative. Our worker-owned coop was conceived to advance the evolution of planetary beings through the arts.
We produce films, live theatre performances, music, visual art, podcasts, and more. As a limited-equity co-housing cooperative, we will also serve as a respite from the ever-looming threat of homelessness that stalks residents of Los Angeles, particularly Black and IPOC artists.
KGPLA’s primary focus is for our member-owner creatives to have the opportunity to present diverse cultural programming in live performances, and pre-recorded settings via digital media. We offer vulnerable creatives of every age greater control over their lives and their art, while also improving their economic conditions and providing protection during hard times.
Our partnership with Nature Center for Meditation allows us to offer lifestyle coaching and alternative therapy practices; supporting personal, interpersonal and social transformation, while sharing new models for health, psychology, creativity and communication.
