PROJECT DESCRIPTION

An LGBTQIA film series that offers a glimpse into the inner workings of a Chicago-based secret society on the hunt for an ancient manuscript to unravel the secrets it holds about the creation of men in order to stop the destruction of Mother Earth.

ROLES AVAILABLE IN THIS PROJECT

Chef Aquarius Morrison

Lead. Female. 30-40

Chef Aquarius Morrison aka the Butcher – creator of the Library of Babel (Literary Supper Club)  – She loves knives and is very good with using them. She, Kali Ma and Ultimate met in a group home for ‘Gifted and Troubled’ youth. 

Kali Ma Lorde 

Lead. Female. 30-40

Loctician : Beauty spa owner / Yogi – She is the managing co-conspirator of the Sacred Circle and hosts the secret meetings at her beauty shop. She is all about decentering men and decentering romantic relationships. Kali Ma loves music and loves to dance, it’s her spiritual release and form of worship. As a part of her practice and reverie, Kali goes to the water to dance and speak love and healing. As a deep spiritual practitioner her knows that women have to heal the water to heal the community. She, Ultimate and Aquarius have become inseparable since they met at the group home. They made a blood oath to see the vision of their Grandmothers become reality.

Dolo (Dolores Butler)

Lead. Female. 25-35

The content creator behind Whispers & Secrets TV. She is in the realm of gossip with a side of conspiracy. Created this platform after she was fired from her internship at NPR for being insubordinate. Her parents kicked her out at 16 when they found out she was gay. She’s an escort/sex worker on the side. Even though she doesn’t deal with men romantically she does this to pay the bills. Her sister Nolo (Natalie) is still living with the parents and she’s being abused.

Xa (Xami DuSable)

Lead. Female. 25-35

Computer Programming Genius – the pill popping party girl  – loves house music. She is married to a traveling chef that cooks for touring musicians. Her husband gives her all the tea on the celebs who have a colorful array of guests in their dressing room and their tour busses. Xa cosplays as a straight woman but is attracted to women.

Ultimate the Dragon aka Robin Hoode

Lead. Female. 30-40

Poet, eco-terrorist, bounty hunter, lyricist, painter, musician, weed dealer, stick up kid (she only robs men, says it’s reparations). She is an assassin for the Sacred Circle ⭕️ – they choose to exact vigilante justice against rapists & murders. She goes to bars and pretends like she’s drunk and waits til someone tries to micky her or attack her then she tazes them and murks them. She is from the Thuggie lineage; an ancient sect of Goddess devotees that kill men who harm women and children.

Pernicia Picme

Supporting. Female. 40-60

Director of the Division of Humanities at University of Chicago and Dr. Love*Joy’s boss. She is an undercover operative of Evil Government and the American liaison to the Great Mother Institute. She is a minion for Sir Lord Husband and does his bidding. Pernicia is secretly in love with Sir Lord Husband and would like nothing more than to become his wife. She willfully ignores all the red flags signaling that he’s gay and not remotely interested in her. 

Sir Lord Husband

Supporting. Male. 40-60

British blood diamond merchant and philanthropist with family ties to the House of Windsor. Founder of the group home for ‘Gifted and Troubled’ youth.  To the outside world, the home was a beacon in the Protestant community – finding unrecognized geniuses among violent female offenders and giving them a better life. The group home, The G.R.E.A.T. M.O.T.H.E.R. Institute, is a front for the Evil Government Black Op site dedicated to the identification and programming of those whose lineage can be traced backed to the Sacred Circle ⭕️. The Great Mother Institute stands for Genome Research Examining Ancient Toroidal Molecular Organisms and Testing Hyperspace Extra-temporal Reality.  

Ayida River Wedo

Supporting. Female. 25-35

Phd student in urban anthropology at Northwestern University. She is studying the evolution of the Y gene and its impending obsolescence. She loves to party hard in her down time, which is how she met Xa. 

Siren Walker

Supporting. Female. 40-60

A classically trained pianist and Dr. Love*Joy’s fiancee. They met at university and have always had an on again, off again kind of relationship for decades. They made an agreement that if they were not with someone by the time they turned 40 that they would be together. Siren is afraid of commitment but she loves Dr. Love*Joy so she agreed to get married. She wonders if their relationship can survive living on 2 separate continents and secretly desires an open relationship but is afraid to express this. Siren calls Dr. Love*Joy every night and plays music for her. 

Familiar Scott 

Supporting. Female. 25-35

Dr. Love*Joys’ teaching assistant. She has a master’s degree in creative writing. She is currently working on a book about an ancient group of androgynous beings that created men to be slaves – the men revolted and turned the tables on them. Familiar feels that her getting the job working for Dr. Love*Joy was kismet and that she has experienced love at first sight.

Nolo (Natalie Butler)

Supporting. Female. 15-25

Dolo’s teenage sister, a junior attending Hyde Park Academy. She is living in a household with a physically abusive father and an incompetent and emotionally abusive mother.  She wants to live with Dolo but her parents won’t allow it. She has to sneak to even see her sister as the family has disowned her.  Nolo has even tried to emancipate herself but her parents did a great acting job in court and made her look crazy. Now her parents are threatening to lock her up in a mental institution. 

James DuSable 

Supporting. Male. 25-35

Traveling chef. Tours with big names like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Adele. Xami’s husband. Good natured, happy go lucky guy that absolutely loves the art of cooking. He and Xami met backstage at a Beyonce concert. 

Mann Butler

Supporting. Male. 50-60

Dolo and Nolo’s father. A textbook narcissistic asshole that maintains an upstanding and righteous presentation for the outside world. He used to beat Dolo and then starting beating on Nolo when he kicked Dolo out of the house. 

Tisha Butler

Supporting. Female. 50-60

Dolo and Nolo’s mother. A shell of a woman. Hates her life and hates being a mother. Raised in a very orthodox religious family. Emotionally unavailable for her daughters.
